FAQs
Is this a new show?
No. This is a repeat show of Grow Up Nana that was performed in November 2023.
Is there a physical location where I can buy tickets?
No. Tickets for this performance were only available through the online ticketing site.
Can I buy tickets with cash?
No. Only online purchases were valid. VISA, AMEX and Mastercard credit cards were accepted.
I don’t have a credit card. How can I buy tickets?
As cash sales were not possible, you would have had to either ask a friend who has a card to purchase it for you or get yourself a credit card.
How many tickets can I buy?
There was no limit on purchasing tickets.
If it’s an online purchase only, how can I collect my tickets?
You received an email and an SMS with the confirmation code, to be shown to the box office on the day of the show to collect your tickets.
Can I book specific seats?
Yes. All seats were numbered, including the Balcony seats, so you could pick the exact seat you wanted to sit on.
Can I choose my seat?
Absolutely. You had the choice of selecting or changing your seats at every step of the transaction.
Is this show child friendly, is it age restricted?
All ages ok. Ages 12 and above recommended.
How much time before the show do I have to collect my tickets?
Since the ticket was already paid for, it was available for collection at the Lionel Wendt box office before the show began. We recommended collecting the ticket 10 to 15 minutes earlier in case of a last minute queue at the box office.
I have booked tickets on my credit card for my friends or family, but I cannot attend the show personally. How do I ensure that they will be issued tickets at the hall?
In a scenario where the cardholder was absent during the collection of tickets, the person collecting the tickets needed to show the Email Voucher or SMS. It was the cardholder’s responsibility to ensure the confidentiality of the Email Voucher or SMS, and that it was not revealed to anyone other than the person redeeming the tickets on their behalf.
I accidentally booked my tickets for today instead of tomorrow, can you change the tickets?
Tickets once booked were deemed sold. It was not possible to cancel, replace or refund a confirmed booking.
Can I change my seat numbers?
No. It was not possible to change the seat numbers of a ticket once booked.
I can’t make it to the show, can I get a refund?

When is the show being performed?
The show was performed on January 12th, 13th and 14th 2024.
What time does the show start?
The show commenced at 7.30 PM.
How long is the show?
The duration of the show was approximately 2 hours.
Is there parking available?
Parking is usually allowed along Premasiri Khemadasa Mawatha, but is subject to police restrictions which can vary from day to day.
Is the hall wheelchair accessible?
The hall is not set up for wheelchair accessibility. However some patrons in wheelchairs have been accommodated with some assistance. Patrons in wheelchairs can only be accommodated in the far corners of the front row due to the nature of the hall, and only 2 spots are available. This situation is not under our control.
Is there food available?
No. Food and drink are strictly not allowed inside the hall as per Lionel Wendt policies.
