1996 May - The Legend of Macbeth
In September 1995 several young theatre enthusiasts met and
discussed an idea that was to later culminate in breakthrough
production 8 months later....

1997 May - Julius Caesar - The Anatomy of an Assassination
Following on the success of “The Legend of Macbeth” it was
decided to do a version of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, StageLight&Magic
Inc or SLM as it became known came up with a most innovative way of
staging Shakespeare’s classic tragedy....

1998 May – Widows
Having established itself as a company able to pull off a huge production
like “Julius Caesar – The Anatomy of an Assassination”, SLM turned
it’s
attention on a play that would in many ways revolutionize English theatre....

1999 May - The Accidental death of an Anarchist
Take One Notorious Police Station and Four stupid Cops, add to that
a curious journalist, a dead anarchist, a certified lunatic and out comes
a hilarious comedy of cover ups, blunders and mix ups......

2001 September - The compleat wrks of Wllm Shkspr
Sound like a typographical error? Or a pathetic attempt to get noticed…
No it is a subtle way of sending out a message that this is Shakespeare
as you have never seen before.....

2002 June - Animal Farm
In reality Animal Farm is essentially a testament of the evils of ‘Political Lying’.
It is a strong statement of the extent to which politicians, irrespective of
whether they come to power through revolution or by a democratic process,
turn their back on their ideals and eventually on the people they promise
to serve.....

2003 June - Big Brother is watching
Imagine a world where you cannot think what you like. Where you

2004 October - R&J The tale of Romeo & Juliet
“What’s in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...”
When William Shakespeare penned those words, little did he realise
that they would become part of the greatest love story written in
the English language.....

2005 June - Elizabeth - Almost by chance a woman
Dario Fo’s plays are known for their almost absurd comic element as
well as their biting satire. Although the only biting that happens in any
of Stagefright&Panic performances is when the food is served, this is
not a play or a story that is to be taken lightly....
